THE FARMHOUSE
The Farmhouse is purposefully located in Plymouth, Massachusetts. The town is a place of great prominence, and debate in defining our history, culture and society. The Farmhouse aims to create a community of human beings who are committed to serving others as its core mission. The Farmhouse is designed for us to learn from our history, challenge social constructs, and chart a path for society that affirms the importance of community, gathering, collaboration, creativity, and connection over hyper-individualistic self-interest. Creating a better life for all people in our world is our commitment.
While the physical exterior of The Farmhouse creates a sense of nostalgic wistfulness, the open concept gathering spaces, integrated technology capabilities and encourage a modern, personalized, and connected gathering experience, where people can connect and create together in a fostering environment where social and economic constructs that often confine us do not exist. The accommodations are each named with and outfitted with a piece of artwork that communicates The Farmhouse’s physical and personal progression toward a life of service to others - Self, Vulnerability, Others, Relationship, Commitment, and Joy.
Joy is the enduring positive feeling realized from a life of service to others that makes places to sit and ponder at The Farmhouse even more meaningful.
